該展會(huì)自1995年開(kāi)始舉辦，在2008年的展會(huì)上，共有42個(gè)國(guó)家的840家公司參展，參展面積達(dá)32294平方米，共有31286名觀眾參觀了德國(guó)法蘭克福國(guó)際大型活動(dòng)及通訊技術(shù)、音像制作及娛樂(lè)展覽會(huì)（Prolight + Sound）。
